hornsey park mural

This arts project was facilitated by Mallee Arts CoLab. We engaged 5 First Nations artists to design the artwork for 2 community murals.The whole neighbourhood was invited to a community day to participate in painting the background stage 1 of the artworks. A number of community service organisations are working in partnership with the Hornsey Park community including DFFH, MRCC, Victoria Police, Connected Beginnings and SCHS.

We launched the mruals on July 8th with a smoking ceremony and invite to all in the community to come down and celebrate the amazing work on display.
